CNN recaps the issues with mould and schools
A short and worthwhile introduction to mould issues and schools in this video. The same can be said for homes. Have a Healthy Home Check Up from Anne Stewart to determine if you have a mould problems, and pinpoint the cause, so you can get it corrected.

Hidden epidemic?
Trends and modelling for brain and CNS tumors from cell phone use. Some interesting modelling - based on probable 30 year latency - shows graphs of 3 possible outcomes (no influence, reduction in DNA repair, DNA damage). Also compares Scandinavian
experience versus North American (70% of population subscribed in 2000 in Nordic countries, 40% in USA).

Second graph on the right shows the actual incidence and projected incidence after 30 years!

Traffic Corridors and Health
Who remembers those smog days of summer?
This photo was taken Thanksgiving weekend (on the QEW)!

Smog-days, or days with poor Air Quality Indexes are not only in the summer. So, for many reasons living near a traffic corridor is a bad idea. Get some assistance from Environmental health Consulting before you move, to find the right location for

Reason #1: Air quality (look at what public health and urban planners are saying about locating schools, nursing homes, hospitals, etc. near highways...)
Reason #2: Noise, and vibration
Reason #3: Radio frequency or microwave frequency electromagnetic fields (Industry Canada, the agency who has total authority over cell towers and cell antenna, does not restrict new or increased antennas close to highways)

See where cell towers are near you; look at this site:
